Next Semester Class - Christian Ethics
Course description: An Urban Missionary is a Christ pursuer who incarnates the gospel in the general area/community that they live in. They become a part of the people, learn the language and culture so that they know how to impact it. This allows them to plant long term roots and invest their lives for the long haul. Urban ministry is a form of ministry that is focused on serving people living in urban areas, many of whom are dealing with issues related to poverty, inequality, and social injustice. Urban ministries are a vital and common staple in many urban neighborhoods across the world. As cities continue to expand, Christ calls the church to bring the gospel to these centers of population, culture, and political power.

Welcome to our VOBC San Antonio West extension page. I'd like to thank you for visiting and congratulate you in seeking further information about our school. I am not only the VOBC SAW coordinator but an active student of the program. VOBC SAW has been a vital part of my Christian journey as for many others who have continued on and graduated with an associates degree in biblical and theological studies. VOBC SAW has helped me spiritually as well as in the transmission and imparting of the Word of God. VOBC SAW is a great investment towards yourself and those you find yourself in close proximity for ministering to. I encourage you to participate in this coming semester.
